REFERRALS
A referral is an important procedure that enables students, staff members, parents, or any concerned adult to communicate specific concerns regarding a student's well-being or academic performance to the school counselor. This process allows individuals to express observations or challenges that a student may be facing, ensuring that the counselor can provide the necessary support and resources tailored to the student's unique needs.
CAREER/CONTINUING ED PLANNING
Students should create a plan for after graduation. Research indicates that students who begin planning in high school tend to achieve greater career success later in life.
SCHOLARSHIPS & FINANCIAL PROGRAMS
Various scholarships and specialized programs are offered to help students cover their educational expenses. These financial aids can help alleviate costs associated with tuition, textbooks, and other necessary supplies, making higher education more accessible. Scholarships may be awarded based on academic achievement, financial need, or specific talents and interests, while special programs may provide additional resources such as mentorship, career guidance, and networking opportunities to enhance the overall educational experience.
